Klet produces its own arts and culture programme through open calls to artists and other performers
Klet's arts and culture programme — its gallery and stage programme — is conceived as a permanent, ongoing programme that is constantly being refined, aimed primarily at young, emerging local and regional artists.
The gallery's current exhibition programme is mostly based on a pop-up concept lasting one to three days, and is split into two strands — “PRIJATELJI U KLETI” (Friends at Klet), in which members of the association independently organise exhibitions by artists whose work they feel fits the association's ideas, and “GOSTI U KLETI” (Guests at Klet), which grew out of the first open call to exhibit in the gallery. The first open call was held in July and August 2024.
Co-producing and hosting
arts and culture content
Klet's programme also builds on a range of other, constantly evolving content — not only produced in-house, but also co-produced with other players on the scene, such as art festivals, galleries, collectives, film and theatre productions, universities, music ensembles, educational programmes, local and international initiatives, independent artists and others.
So far Klet has carried out a number of co-productions and collaborations with players from the independent cultural scene — you can find examples in the archive below.
