JOŠ SE BOJIM MRAKA // I'M STILL AFRAID OF THE DARK

(one night only)

poster design: @dizajnerdariodevic

First public showing of an ongoing project titled "I'm still afraid of the dark." An exploration of Croatian folk beliefs related to death and afterlife. The work comes out of my personal experiences with grieving. My research leads me into a long-forgotten world that ascribed illness and death to supernatural forces. There, closing the door behind the deceased or draping cloth over a mirror could protect both the dead in the afterlife and the loved ones they left behind from evil.
